Israel attacked Iranian state television after Iran fired another wave of missiles at Israel on the fourth day of open warfare between the regional foes.

Iran and Israel are exchanging fire for a fifth day, with Iranian media reporting explosions and heavy air defence fire in Tehran overnight.

The warning came on the fourth day of the conflict, when the Israeli military claimed it had achieved air superiority over Tehran.
