Fortifying their bullpen for the stretch run, the New York Yankees acquired All-Star relievers David Bednar and Camilo Doval in separate deals as they made a flurry of moves Thursday just ahead of baseball’s trade deadline.

Help is on the way for the New York Yankees bullpen. General manager Brian Cashman landed three high-leverage relievers before the trade deadline, picking up David Bednar from the Pittsburgh Pirates, Jake Bird from the Colorado Rockies and Camilo Doval from the San Francisco Giants.

According to a report from Jack Curry of YES Network, the Yankees agreed to acquire right-handed fireballer Camilo Doval from the San Francisco Giants.
