The April 12 episode of “Saturday Night Live” featured a pre-taped spoof of the Mike White drama series, which starred Sarah Sherman as a parodied version of Wood’s character, Chelsea. On Sunday, Wood took to her Instagram Stories to express her frustration with the portrayal, calling it “mean and unfunny.”

After Aimee Lou Wood’s “White Lotus” character Chelsea was parodied on “Saturday Night Live” in a sketch spoofing season three of the HBO Max series, the actress spoke out.

The actress said she's "had apologies from 'SNL'" after calling out the sketch in which Sarah Sherman donned very pronounced fake teeth to play a character meant to look like Wood's Chelsea.
