Joey Logano finished fifth in Sunday’s Cup Series race at Talladega — until he didn’t. NASCAR later disqualified the No. 22 car along with Ryan Preece after failing post-race inspection for violations to the rear spoiler.

Ryan Preece, who initially scored a career-best runner-up finish, and Joey Logano, who initially finished fifth, have been disqualified from the Jack Link's 500 at Talladega following post-race inspection.
