The Maricopa County jury spent almost 30 minutes deliberating on June 12 before convicting Daybell after five days of testimony.

A jury in Phoenix has convicted Lori Vallow Daybell of conspiring to kill her niece’s ex-husband in 2019. That marks her second murder conspiracy conviction in Arizona.

Vallow Daybell, who represented herself, pleaded not guilty. This marks her third trial in recent years. Earlier in spring, she was found guilty of conspiring to murder her estranged husband, Charles Vallow, in Arizona. She awaits sentencing for this trial.
