Palworld's playercount has spiked by almost 800% from its lows the last few months, and this is in fact the most players it has had since its launch window, since March 2024.

Palworld’s Feybreak update has caused a surge in player counts and shot the game back up the Steam charts for the first time since launch.

Palworld had an incredibly impressive debut, peaking at 2,101,867 concurrent players on Steam back at launch, the third-highest on the platform ever. Since then, the number has gradually dwindled and settled, but as reported by Forbes, Palworld's concurrent player count shot up by nearly 800% this weekend.

Palworld draws more than 200,000 concurrent players thanks to the new Feybreak update and it now one of the Top 10 games on Steam chart.

Pocketpair added a total of 19 new weapons to Palworld with the Dec. 23 patch. These include items like the Beam Sword, Compound Bow, Meowmere, Laser Gatling Gun, and five new elemental grenades. Most of these items can be crafted at your base with the help of Weapon Assembly Lines and Pals with the Handiwork trait.

Remember when Palworld first launched, and the hype for that game was, well, everywhere? Palworld: Feybreak hasn't reached those same heights yet, but it's easily been the game's biggest popularity spike since launch.
