More states, territories and Washington, D.C., have signed on to a settlement with drugmaker Purdue Pharma and the Sackler family over the opioid crisis, officials said.

Georgia could receive up to $126 million from a national opioid settlement with Purdue Pharma and the Sackler family.

The settlement will depend on court approval of Purdue’s bankruptcy plan, which the court is expected to consider later this year, Campbell's office said.
