In 2022, staffers at the ‘Call of Duty’ developer became the first to unionize within major video game holding company Activision Blizzard.

Call of Duty developer Raven Software has now secured a contract for its union after after three years of work. Workers at Raven "unanimously voted to ratify their first union contract between Game Workers Alliance-CWA (GWA-CWA) members and Microsoft," according to a press release from the Communication Workers of America (CWA).

Employees at Raven Software, known for its work on the Call of Duty franchise, finally have a union contract with Microsoft. This happened nearly years after quality assurance (QA) workers at the company voted to unionize.
