The crash happened on Thursday just before 7:15 p.m. local time on a highway near Henry's Lake State Park in eastern Idaho, about 16 miles west of Yellowstone National Park.

Seven people were killed in a fiery crash between a van and a pickup truck on an eastern Idaho highway near Yellowstone National Park, officials said.

Idaho State Police say seven people were killed and eight others injured after a pickup truck and a tour van with foreigner visitors, including two people from Italy and five from China, collided on a highway in eastern Idaho that leads to Yellowstone National Park.
