A line of strong storms rushed across West Michigan Thursday night, leading to more power outages even as many were still without service following storms the previous night.

As storms rolled into West Michigan Wednesday night, winds knocked over trees and power lines, leaving some people without power.

Consumers Energy crews worked overnight to restore power to more than 50,000 customers across Michigan following heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and flooding. More severe weather, including a chance for tornadoes,

The Consumers Energy Outage Map peaked at 105,000 affected customers following Wednesday night's storm.
