An Extreme Cold Watch has been issued for all of Central Florida this weekend as some of the coldest air in years moves into the area. Temperatures will be below freezing, so remember the 5 Ps!
The Sharing Center of Central Brevard is opening its doors for an emergency cold weather shelter at 6 p.m. Monday to 9 a.m. the next morning. Space is limited and works on a first come first serve basis. Dinner will be served followed with breakfast in the morning. The Sharing Center is located at 113 Aurora Street St., in Cocoa.
The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a freeze warning for parts of Central Florida for overnight into Tuesday morning with forecast temperatures expected to fall into the lower 30s.

The front moves into Central Florida from the northwest to the southeast, bringing scattered showers (30–50%) and gusty winds. Winds turn breezy from the west and northwest in the afternoon, gusting up to 25 mph.
