LOS ANGELES (AP) — Austin Reaves scored 38 points, Luka Doncic added 35 points and 11 assists in his third meeting with his former team, and the Lakers spoiled Anthony Davis’ return to Los Angeles with a 129-119 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night.

Doncic kept his foot on the gas on Monday as the Lakers sought their eighth consecutive win. The 6-foot-8 guard wasted no time making his impact on the game, turning in another scorching hot first-quarter performance.
