RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Two huge white sharks are being tracked along the North Carolina coast on Sunday, according to an ocean research group that specializes in tracking the large sea creatures.
KILL DEVIL HILLS, N.C. -- A couple on the Outer Banks tried to take a swim in what appeared to be makeshift shark cages on Sunday. Jordan Cutrell captured video of the couple and posted it to YouTube.
The sharks are swimming in warmer southern waters during their “overwintering period” before traveling back north during the summer.
