Just two Republican members of the House voted against President Trump’s massive tax and spending bill that was received final congressional approval on Thursday afternoon. Massie was among the first Republicans to oppose the bill and spent the week speaking out against it.

WASHINGTON—The House of Representatives was headed toward a final vote Thursday to pass President Trump’s sprawling tax-and-spending bill, after Republican Party leaders worked through resistance from a handful of rank-and-file members.

President Donald Trump is expected to sign into law on July 4 his second-term agenda on tax reductions, immigration enforcement and Medicaid cuts.
