A day after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced state troopers and federal agents descended on Colony Ridge as part of an operation targeting “criminals and illegal immigrants,” law enforcement only released information on one arrest,

ICE officials in Houston arrested an immigrant "predator" previously convicted of secretly recording others in a bathroom.

Conservative state officials have previously accused the residential community north of Houston of being a safe haven for people in the country without legal status. It was not immediately clear Tuesday whether the reported number of arrests were made this week or as part of ongoing enforcement initiatives.

ICE's social media post said those arrested were charged with an array of crimes, including criminal sexual conduct, homicide, theft and drug offenses.
