Jets quarterback Justin Fields will practice for a couple of weeks with a plastic shield on the outside of his cleats to protect his dislocated toe.

New York quarterback Justin Fields suffered a dislocated toe on his right foot last Thursday during a training camp session, but he's back at practice now. As noted to reporters Tuesday, he was "eager" to return to action.

The New York Jets' success in 2025 will largely be dependent on whether or not Justin Fields can finally figure it out.
