Philadelphia Eagles’ Saquon Barkley and his family are in the spotlight after the running back shared handshakes with his children ahead of the NFC championship game.

Saquon Barkley had himself a monster game on Sunday in the NFC Championship against the Commanders. He scored on the Eagles’ first play, and he went on to put away the Commanders with his three-touchdown effort. Even though Barkley made it look easy at times, he was well aware of what his offensive line was dealing with in the lead-up to the game.

On the first play of Philly's first possession, it only made sense that offensive coordinator Kellen Moore would feed the man that has changed the Eagles offense for the better, and that's exactly what he did by handing off to Saquon Barkley.

This is Barkley's first season with the Eagles. He joined the franchise as a free agent on a three-year, $37.75 million contract this past offseason. The 27-year-old back became the ninth running back in NFL history to rush for 2,000 or more yards in a single season, finishing with 2,005 yards, eighth-most all-time.

On third down from the Commanders' 24-yard line, Eagles running back Saquon Barkley ran along the right sideline and was hit just as he stepped out of bounds by Commanders cornerback Mike Sainristil.
