WASHINGTON (AP) — Former President Bill Clinton was discharged from a Washington hospital on Tuesday and will be home for Christmas after he was admitted the day before with a fever. Clinton is being treated for the flu, Angel Urena, Clinton’s deputy chief of staff, said in a statement about his release.

“President Clinton was admitted to Georgetown University Medical Center this afternoon for testing and observation after developing a fever,” Clinton’s deputy chief of staff Angel Ureña wrote on X. “He remains in good spirits and deeply appreciates the excellent care he is receiving.”

Former President Bill Clinton was hospitalized in Washington, D.C., on Monday after developing a fever. He is in "good spirits," according to a spokesperson.
