Police have arrested seven people after they occupied an office at Microsoft's headquarters in Washington state.

A few hours after his office was infiltrated and occupied by a group protesting Microsoft’s technology contracts with Israel, the company’s president, Brad Smith, stood beside his desk addressing a hastily called press conference Tuesday afternoon.

Microsoft Corp. President Brad Smith reiterated an earlier pledge to investigate reports that Israel used its technology to select bombing targets, but he decried the actions of protesters who occupied his office demanding that the company sever ties with the country.
