Shortly before 2:30 a.m., officers patrolling in the downtown and Deep Ellum area were flagged down to respond to a shooting under a bridge at Canton

Dallas police were involved in a shooting that killed one person and injured several others, the department said in a press release.

One person is dead and several others are hurt after two shootings in Deep Ellum early Saturday, including one involving a Dallas police officer.
