Tarik Skubal had his first multiple-walk game since April, but held the Orioles scoreless over seven innings in a 4-1 win.

The Tigers remain atop the American League Central, eight games up on the Minnesota Twins. The Orioles are still last in the AL East, 8.5 games back of a Wild Card spot. Time: 6:35 p.m. ET

Spencer Torkelson blasted a two-run home run, his 16th of the season, to back Brent Hurter and Sawyer Gipson-Long in a 5-3 win.

The Orioles dropped their second game in a row Tuesday as Cade Povich fell apart in the fifth inning against the Tigers.

Jack Flaherty gave up a pair of homers, including a grand slam, in a pivotal fifth inning of an 11-1 loss to the Reds.
