Heisman winner Travis Hunter will play his final collegiate game in Saturday's Alamo Bowl, and he's going to do so in style. Ahead of Colorado's bowl game against BYU, Hunter showed off his cleat selection for the occasion: a custom pair of Nikes adorned with the Heisman logo and the award in big bold letters on a strap across the front.

Hunter, a wide receiver and cornerback, won the 2024 Heisman Trophy earlier this month, and he and quarterback Sanders are both projected first-round NFL Draft picks in 2025. It’d be reasonable to think they’d opt out of No. 23 Colorado’s Alamo Bowl game Saturday against No. 17 BYU.

Ahead of the Alamo Bowl, Colorado shared a photo of Hunter's new custom cleats, which celebrate his Heisman win. The footwear includes the word "Heisman" across the laces and the trophy on the toebox. Attached to the laces were beads that spelled out Hunter's name. The cleats also featured the Buffaloes' color scheme.
