The Arizona Cardinals selected Walter Nolen, a divisive prospect, 16th overall out of Ole Miss in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

We are through the 2025 NFL Draft and the Arizona Cardinals draft class looks like they saw what the problem was in 2024 and wanted to make sure it was not the problem moving forward. It started with their first pick of Walter Nolen, the 6-4 296lbs defensive tackle from Ole Miss.

The Cincinnati Bengals have the 17th overall pick in Thursday's first round of the NFL draft in Green Bay, and ESPN's Field Yates predicted Cincinnati would select Ole Miss defensive tackle Walter Nolen. Nolen instead went one pick earlier, 16th overall, to the Arizona Cardinals.
