Referee David Coote has been banned by UEFA until June 30, 2026, the European football governing body confirmed on Friday.

Coote was sacked by the PGMOL, the referees' body, in December after appearing in several leaked clips, including one in which he insulted former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
