A woman was killed after getting shot by police early Sunday in an incident that, officials said, unfolded along Eire Avenue in the Hunting Park section of North Philadelphia.

A Tuesday morning pursuit ended after the suspect in a fatal stabbing was injured in an officer-involved shooting, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said.

No arrests have been made.
