Landen Grifith led Class A-II Talihina to defeat Hominy for its first state title since 1966, just three years after nearly shutting down the program.
Talihina held on for a 26-20 win over Hominy in the OSSAA Class A-II football state championship game Thursday at Chad Richison Stadium in Edmond.
