Betsy Arakawa, the concert pianist who was married to actor Gene Hackman, died from hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, according to an autopsy report released Tuesday that said that her lungs were heavy and congested.

The Office of the Medical Investigator in New Mexico released the final autopsy results in the deaths of Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa Hackman.

Gene Hackman's wife Betsy Arakawa's autopsy showed lung fluid accumulation caused by hantavirus, confirming her natural cause of death
