Theryn Hallock sparked a big third quarter for the Michigan State women's basketball team. And that surge after halftime helped the No. 22-ranked Spartans continue their winning ways. Hallock scored 14 points in the third while helping MSU take control on its way to an 88-58 victory over rival Michigan on Saturday afternoon at Crisler Center.

The Spartans (17-3, 7-2 Big Ten) outscored the Wolverines 59-25 in the second half, making a rout out of the first matchup between the rivals in which both teams were ranked.
