Nine more Palestinians were killed in fresh Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday as Tel Aviv continued a deadly onslaught on the blockaded enclave, medics said. Three people were killed in an Israeli drone attack in the Qizan al-Najjar area in southern Khan Younis south of the enclave, a medical source told Anadolu.

The United Nations had asked the International Court of Justice for an advisory opinion on Israel’s obligations to facilitate aid under international law.

Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip overnight into Monday killed at least 27 Palestinians, according to local health officials. There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military. Israel has carried out daily strikes on Gaza since ending its ceasefire with Hamas last month.
