Roblox is facing a wave of lawsuits from parents nationwide who allege the company enabled predators by refusing to implement basic safety measures. The latest case, filed in California, accuses Roblox of prioritizing profit over child protection.

The plaintiff, who claims he was sexually abused as a child by an adult posing as a minor on Roblox, says the game does not properly prevent pedophiles from preying on the platform's target audience.

“Due to Roblox’s lack of safety protocols, it endangers the safety of the children of Louisiana,” Murrill said in a news release. “Roblox is overrun with harmful content and child predators because it prioritizes user growth, revenue, and profits over child safety.”
