PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers quarterbacks coach Tom Arth has a lot of experience around great quarterbacks. As a player, he spent three years with the Indianapolis Colts learning from Peyton Manning. In 2006, he spent a summer with now Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and their reunion in Pittsburgh is one of familiarity.

While Aaron Rodgers will turn 42-years-old during the 2025 season, the Pittsburgh Steelers remain confident that he's still at the top of his game. The four-time MVP threw for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions last year for the New York Jets after suffering a season-ending Achilles injury in Week 1 of the 2023 campaign.

Standing in front of a sea of cameras more suited for the week ahead of a conference championship game rather than what Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin calls “football-lite” in June, the 41-year-old Rodgers made a compelling case that the coda he is trying to author in Pittsburgh is about something deeper.
