Bangladesh's interim administration has revoked the passport of its ousted prime minister, Sheikh Hasina, and 74 others for their alleged role in the brutal crackdown on last year's student-led protests against her government,

Hasina, 77, has been living in India since August 5 last year when she fled Bangladesh following a massive student-led protest that toppled her Awami League’s (AL) 16-year regime.

Hasina, who left for India after her Awami League-led government crumbled amidst historic anti-government demonstrations in August 2024, now faces her second arrest warrant.
