Something we’ve recently started to explore here at BTK9 is scratchboard training for dogs highly opposed to nail trims! Sometimes mild aversion can be combatted with counter conditioning over time, but more and more dogs come to us with such a strong fear/aversion that a more hands off approach is a much better solution for both dog and owner.
