Frank Bank (1942–2013) Best remembered for his role as the lovable, slightly goofy Clarence “Lumpy” Rutherford on the classic TV series Leave It to Beaver (1958–1963), Frank Bank brought humor and heart to one of television’s most iconic teen characters. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Frank began his acting career at just 10 years old, playing a young Will Rogers in the 1952 film The Story of Will Rogers.
