Employees registered for Income Tax must submit MIRA 916 to instruct their chosen payer to deduct Employee Withholding Tax at the rates and brackets specified in the Income Tax Act. Without this instruction, payers will deduct Employee Withholding Tax at rates starting from 8%. Registered employees will receive their MIRAconnect account details via email.
