As I get closer to surgery, I realized I can’t do everything at once and honestly, I don’t need to. So I sat down and mapped out the next couple of weeks in a way that makes sense for my body and my energy. Instead of trying to clean the whole house in one day, I separated rooms across different days. Certain days are lighter, certain days are heavier. For example, I put the kitchen on a day where I don’t have any appointments because that’s a bigger task. Reorganizing the pantry, cleaning out t
