For the first time in South Africa, charges of Crimes Against Humanity, jurisdiction for which falls under the International Criminal Court, will be pursued in a domestic murder case. The charges have been brought against an apartheid police officer and former soldier accused of attacking four activists from the Congress of South African Students in 1982.
