"The Crunge" is one of the weirder songs that Led Zeppelin ever did timing-wise. It doesnt necessarily make sense to play it on such a big kit with that many toms, but I've often wondered if John Bonham would've lived longer into the 80s would he have ever experimented with a bigger kit? The 80s was all about big kits and "more is more". Maybe he would've added more toms, dusted off the second bass drum that he used briefly in the early days. We'll never know of course but its something to think
